Who we are

Viravesso is a business registered in Portugal as an independent contractor. We operate the website viravesso.io and the ViraOps knowledge subscription.

What data we may collect and why

When you sign up for our free trial or subscription we collect:

  • Email address

  • First and last name

  • Company

  • Job title

  • Industry

  • Information to help customise your experience

We collect this information to create and manage your account, deliver the ViraOps subscription, send you relevant communications, and improve the product over time.

We do not collect sensitive personal data. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the following grounds:

  • Contract performance: to deliver the subscription you signed up for

  • Legitimate interests: to improve our product and communicate relevant updates

  • Consent: where you have explicitly opted in to marketing communications

How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored and managed through Outseta, our membership and CRM platform. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe. Viravesso does not store or process payment card information directly.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We have data processing agreements in place with each provider as required by GDPR.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate data

  • Request deletion of your data

  • Object to or restrict how we process your data

  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

  • Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis for processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@viravesso.io. We will respond within 30 days.

If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados), at www.cnpd.pt.

Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with our legal obligations. If you request deletion, we will remove your data unless we are required by law to retain it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify active members directly.
